The Jewish Film Festival of Southwest Florida held last March, was a smashing success! The event was very well attended and people are still raving about the great selection of films that were screened.
The 23rd Annual Southwest Florida Jewish Film Festival will be held in January 2011. We capture the flavor of the larger Jewish Film Festivals that are held each year in cities like New York, Boston, Atlanta, San Francisco and Miami. Films are screened at select theaters in Lee and Charlotte Counties.
Our Jewish Film Festival publicity pamphlet will include your advertisement. We distribute 4000 pamphlets around Lee and Charlotte Counties. Sponsors are acknowledged before each film is screened. This event is very popular and we need your support.
THE BROTHERS WARNER is the inside story of the little known major player in the Warner Bros. studio legend, Harry Warner, honest Abe, visionary Sam, and volatile Jack – the original Hollywood independent filmmakers. This close-knit band of brothers was the first to use mass media to “educate, entertain, and enlighten”. Their legendary scrappy rise from nothing, while overcoming personal tragedies, and their battles are woven together with the times in which they lived. From opening their first storefront theater by hanging a sheet on the wall and borrowing chairs from a funeral parlor to creating one of the top studios in America. Four brothers built an empire on a dream and revolutionized Hollywood creating the first major studio with a social conscience.
